Rehab Recap
Posted by: | CommentsAs we get ready to take our little break, I thought it would be cool to try and itemize the items we have accomplished in the last four months, so here goes. These are all of the items we managed to complete and install to this point.
Brake System
- Four new wheel cylinders
- All new Stainless Steel brake lines
- All four drums turned & painted
- New shoes, springs & hardware on all wheels
- Rebuilt master cylinder & booster (Bendix)
Body
- Frame cleaned and painted with POR-15
- Undercoating touched-up & re-done
- Rear bumper ends repaired & re-plated
- Rear bumper bar re-plated
- Complete interior cleaning
- Firewall evaporators repaired & painted
- Wire harness, cleaned, checked & secured
Exhaust
- New heat control diverter
- All new pipes
- New mufflers
- New resonators
Fuel System
- Gas tank boiled out, tested, repainted & installed
- New stainless steel fuel line
- New fuel pump
- New fuel filter
Mechanicals
- Complete engine rebuild
- New radiator
- Rear Seal (Transmission)
- Transmission filter cleaned & re-installed
- New engine mounts
- New Transmission mount
- New water pump
- New universal joints (Driveshaft)
- Rear axle cleaned & painted
- New differential gasket
- New axle seals
- Heater core boiled out, tested & painted
- Heater fan cleaned, tested & painted
Suspension (Front)
- New wheel bearings & seals
- New upper control arm shafts, bushings & seals
- New lower control arm shafts, bushings & seals
- New shocks
- New spring insulators
- New idler arm
- Drag link (center) completely rebuilt w/new parts
- New sway bar links
- New rubber stops
- New upper & lower ball joints
- New tie rod ends
Suspension (Rear)
- New bearings & seals
- New lower control arm bushings (front & rear)
- New upper yoke bushings
- New rear ball joint
- New spring insulators
- New shocks
